Princess Aurora / Sleeping Beauty Cake

Decorating this cake was a lot of fun. Tammy found the topper online, and the directions for decorating. We used the directions as a guide, but changed most of the detail work. We are really happy with the end product!

Happy Birthday Caitlin!

Elmo and friends

Tammy made cupcakes with the left over batter, so we made a bunch of little Elmo’s. As you can tell, they were a work in progress, but turned out really cute!

Final Cake

This is the final cake for my Wilton classes. It is a 2 tier wedding cake, decorated with fondant roses. The lower cake is a butter cake, and the upper is red velvet.

I spent an entire weekend doing the flowers, and about 2 hours in class assembling the cake. Tammy helped by baking the cakes and crumb coating them, as well as helping me put the calyces on each rose.
