Christmas Card

This is the photo that we used for most of our cards this year. Too bad I couldn’t figure out a way to get Angus and Maggie in it.

My 3 Guys

If there had been one more flower this could have been our Christmas card. Thanks for holding up Noah Memer!

We took down the cribs this morning and had the new toddler beds assembled by lunch. The boys seemed to enjoy helping Tim put them together. Nap time went ok. They played quite a bit at 1st and managed to get the door knob cover off. Tim caught them just before they made a run for it. They did fall asleep, Noah on the floor and Will in his bed. Tonight should be interesting. I can hear them playing as I type this. I am still a little sad to see the cribs go but I am excited about this new stage. We should have some pictures of the entire process soon.

We are planning to take down the cribs this weekend. It’s going be hard. It kinda makes me tear up just thinking about it. They are my babies, my only babies. How can they be big enough to sleep in beds? What’s next, underwear? I am sure that it will be a lot harder on me than the boys. I will try and take a few pictures to post on Monday.

I have never been a big fan of New Year’s resolutions. It just always seemed to be a set up for faliure. I try to see it like a business would. End of the year, time to look back on where we’ve been, to look forward on where we want to go and to plan how to get there. One of the things that I would like to do is to use this site to keep everyone a little better updated on our lives. The boys change so much everyday and it is difficult to keep up with them. In the beginning I made a lot of promises about taking pictures, making scrapbooks, and video taping their every move. Yeah, right. That has proven to be a lot more difficult than I imagined. I decided a while back that it was more important to “be there” than to try and document it.

Don’t fret… I will take pictures from time to time and I will jot down milestones, but more importantly I am going to be involved. It’s fun and it’s done wonders for my stress level. I hope that everyone will enjoy reading about our daily adventures.

Best of luck with any resloutions that you may have made!!

Hanging out with Pop at the zoo in Columbia. After today the boys can tell you what sound a giraffe makes. Too funny!

Yesterday our sweet 1st born turned 8. We got Angus on Valentine’s Day down in Summerville in 2002. He has taken a little of a back seat over the last 2 years but we still love him dearly. We even got him a little cake yesterday to celebrate.
